About the event
The Oslo Chamber Choir founded in 1984 by Grete Pedersen, is one of the top Norwegian choirs and an innovative voice in the international arena. As well as singing classical repertoire, the choir has experimented with Norwegian folk music and through intensive work with the best folk tradition performers has a unique expression: the only choir in which all the singers are profoundly trained in singing Norwegian folk music. The choir has also worked closely with composers to develop new ways of using this music in a choral setting.
