Tuesday Open House: Kai Robert is Back in Minnesota!

11 AM lunch, 12-noon program with Kai Robert Johansen, trumpet, and Jane Bracken, piano

Trumpeter Kai Robert Johansen is from Østfold County in southeastern Norway; he has been performing for 53 years and has been a composer, trumpeter, singer, and radio and TV personality. Johansen has toured the world with his music, including 20 visits to the United States. His album sales exceed one million; several have become gold and platinum-certified. His latest CD, recorded in Nashville, is “Elvis-Trumpet, Kai Robert with James Burton and Musicians,” with strings and vocals by the Imperials.

Tuesday Open House is a program of Mindekirken dedicated to expanding knowledge for persons interested in Mindekirken and Norwegian literature, culture, history, music, theology, and art.
